Why did you want to be a Television Academy governor? Foundation Internship Program, Supporting and promoting the art and craft of costuming
What do you hope to accomplish as a governor? We were successful with our proposal for an overdue award split. We've increased our membership with more work to be done, We've made our peer group more inclusive and welcoming. Continued growth and promotion are our goals
Why is the Academy important to the industry? The Academy highlights and encourages excellence in programming. Todays industry offers a vast array of programming : informative, educational, inspirational, creative, thought provoking, and innovative as well as entertaining. Current television content rivals film for artistic as well as technical achievements and the Academy membership embraces, promotes and encourages this growth.
