The Television Academy announced today that the online entry site is now open for the 15th Television Academy Honors, which celebrates programming that enlightens, educates and motivates audiences around the world.
Applicants can visit TelevisionAcademy.com/Honors/submit to submit entries. The deadline for submission is January 31, 2022.
Television Academy Honors recognizes programming and programmers that explore issues of concern to society in compelling, emotional and insightful ways, inspiring social change.
Entries may be made for fiction or nonfiction series, television movies, limited series or fiction/nonfiction specials and short-form programming that aired from January 1 through December 31, 2021.
Previous honorees represent some of the most influential and relevant series, programs and documentaries of the past decade-and-a-half, including: 16 Shots (SHOWTIME), Watchmen (HBO), black-ish (ABC), I Am Greta (HULU), Little America (Apple), Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj (Netflix), Pose (FX), The Daily Show with Trevor Noah (Comedy Central), This is Us (NBC), Unbelievable (CBS Television Studios for Netflix), Grandpa, Do You Know Who I Am? with Maria Shriver (HBO) and Stand Up to Cancer (ABC, CBS, NBC).
