The Television Academy Honors celebrates and recognizes “Television with a Conscience" — television programming that inspires, informs, motivates and even has the power to change lives. Established in 2008, this prestigious award is not a new category of the Primetime Emmy® Awards; the Television Academy Honors continues to be separate and distinct from Emmy’s recognition of television excellence.
